Fundraising Events Calendar 2024/25
1 in 3 young people in our Borough live in poverty, we have 384 children in care. Disadvantage can often limit achievement of potential.
During our year in office as Mayor and Mayoress of Halton, we will be raising funds to offer bursaries to young people in the Borough to help them overcome financially limited hurdles to help them achieve ambitions. Helping them into higher education or vocational apprenticeships, with the purchase of tools, tech, books, safety kit, even bus fare if necessary to offer them a helping hand on the road to realising their potential - please help us break the cycle and invest in the future talent of the Borough!
The bursary scheme will be administered by The Halton Foundation who have many years experience of supporting people in our Borough and we are delighted to be able to support their efforts further.
You can help by donating to the registered Charity Fund, sponsoring an event, donating a prize to be raffled or auctioned at an event, bringing friends, family & work colleagues to events and generally spreading the word about the events we are holding.

St Lukes church in Farnworth have kindly agreed to host a Christmas Carol Concert at 7pm, featuring the Highfield Male Voice Choir and the pupils from the Farnworth CofE Junior School Choir.
7TH DECEMBER
Christmas Fayre and Open Day for all the family at Runcorn Town Hall.
Carol Singing, mince pies and a superb opportunity to buy Christmas gifts.
13TH DECEMBER
Back by popular demand - Soul & Motown Night at the Parklands Sports Club. Tickets available from the venue.
14TH DECEMBER
A fabulous ABBA tribute night at the Stadium with Bjorn To Be - The Name of the ABBA Game - check them out and then grab your tickets before we sell out. £175 for a table of ten, including Hot Festive Barms to top up that Dancing Queen energy!

24th JANUARY
Chase away the Winter Blues with a top night of comedy at the Stadium - Rob Rouse is our headline act, along with 2 other hilarious comedians. Tickets will go fast!

The Mayor's Ball. Join us for live music, 3 course dinner and a great night out to raise funds for the Mayor's Charity.

Actually, She Can! A day of inspiration and personal development for women, by women, in aid of young women. An excellent opportunity to hear highly sought after motivational speakers, networking and lunch at The Heath in Runcorn. Tickets on sale now!

A Mother's day Afternoon tea Treat at the Town Hall in partnership with the Runcorn WI providing a fabulous tasty selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes. Get to see behind the scenes in the Town Hall with the Mayor & Mayoress hosting and and toast your mum with a glass of fizz!
